With Microsoft Windows installed, Parallels lets Intel-based Macs freely switch between Windows and Mac OS X 10.4.6. Parallels Desktop for Mac could compel you to buy an Apple computer. Parallels' Coherence mode allows you to run Mac and Windows programs side-by-side on the Mac desktop. For example, you might have Microsoft Word 2007 running alongside Safari for Mac. You could drag a link or an image from a Web page on Safari and drop it into a document you're crafting in Office 2007.
Are u sure you are using Parallels? Not Bootcamp?

Because with Parallels you can not boot your Mac intoo Windows!
If you are using Bootcamp:
-Shut down your Mac
-Hold down the option key (alt)
-Start-up your Mac while holding down the key
-Now there should appear a boot menu
-Select the 'Macintosh HD' and press enter
If you are using Parallels:
-ALT + ENTER
-This will swhich back from Windows to OSX
Hopefully this is helpfull or solved your problem.
